Lizzie Hodgson, GBR, ThinkNation
“The commodification of ideas: are we missing the point?”
Lizzie is founder and director of ThinkNation, bringing young people, thought leaders and artists together to tackle big societal problems. She is also founder of Surfacing Purpose, helping organisations think and act differently to smash silos and generate new ideas and solutions. With a background in speechwriting for central government, comms and publishing, she is a Katerva Gender Equality Global Expert Panel Member, as well as an event host, curator, and co-host of The Z-X Spectrum podcast. A two-time TEDx speaker, she often give talks on gender equality and Artificial Intelligence bias. She is on the Advisory Board at The Gulbenkian Arts Centre, and Industrial Advisory Board at University of Kent School of Computing, UK.
In this talk, Lizzie will explore why companies need to start creating ideas not to commodify, but to nurture curiosity within their workforce. This has never been more important than with the ascension of Artificial Intelligence. Why? Because diversity of ideas will not only create a skilled, agile, creative workforce but also help ensure that inequalities and biases aren’t hardwired into your digital ‚innovations‘.
Jaroslav Kmeť, SVK, CIO Slovakia
“Modern e-Slovakia, friendly to people”
Jaroslav Kmeť, graduated from the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra. During his professional career, he held many top managerial positions in various sectors, including telecommunications, financial services and information technology. Prior to joining Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, he worked as Oracle Slovakia General Director and CEO. Currently, he acts as the CIO of the Slovakian Government, General Manager of the Government and Public Sector IT Division and as a Chairman of of the NASES (National Agency for Network and Electronic Services) Supervisory Board. Jaroslav Kmeť was born in Humenne, he speaks fluent English and Russian.
Annotation: The main priority of informatization is to bring improvements to systems and services in which the state has invested considerable funds in the past so as not only to return the state’s expenditures but to save as much money and time as possible for the people. Slovakia is ready to work without any papers. The vision of a „friendly state towards citizens“, projects and activities in the area of meeting the principle „once and enough“ (do not make people to be mail carriers between the authorities, no more waiting queues in the offices, let us forward data to people, informatization should be saving people’s time and money) are attributes understandable to a wide audience , which bring informatization closer to people and will enable to achieve this goal.

Anotace: Jedním ze dvou klíčových prvků, na nichž je založen ITIL 4, je čtyřdimenzionální model obsahující dimenze:
– Organizace a lidé,
– Informace a technologie,
– Partneři a dodavatelé,
– Hodnotové toky a procesy.
